Sold something on Flea bay yesterday morning. Collect in person. According to the info given the buyer lives 150 miles away. The fuel will cost about a third of the price of the item, My postcode was on the listing.

Sent a message via ebay yesterday lunchtime, when do you want to collect? Nada zilch nothing by way of a reply... I know flea bay have T&C's for this sort of thing, but I am just a little peaved as I wanted rid of the thing.... I have received payment from PayPal but I have to wait two weeks before they can't ask for the money back...

Rant over...(nearly)

Homemadearmy I get that but it does make it really restrictive about when you can collect. Given I work it limits the times as well.

I also am quite used to collection items being cash on collection due to the sellers not being protected when using Paypal! So it's me looking out for them really. Have paid by paypal but could quite easily be a scammer who then says item not delivered! Doesn't bother me - they get less at the end of the day.

I do think the seller should have made this clear on the listing. We are happy to travel to collect, its not on the doorstep but worth the trip as what I was looking for at the right price. Just added hassle!

AppleSail nope good old GBP!!!!

Why are you wanting to take it to the bank with them then?
