Another parking one - but with a happy ending!

There is a problem parking in our street - too many cars and not enough spaces means you often don't get a space directly outside your house. Ok, not the end of the world.

We have a bonkers neighbour a few doors down who feels he is superior to us all and deserves 'his' space, fair enough, but where it gets nasty is that cars that park in his space tend to end up with some sticky crap on them which damage the paintwork. (the Police have been informed but he's never been caught in the act so there's nothing they can do)

So, this morning, I noticed a rogue car outside his house and heard him and his wife having a massive barney in the street which included Knobhead saying: "well how was I supposed to know, I wouldn't have done it if I'd known"

It transpires that his wife took their car to be serviced and was given a courtesy car which she parked in 'his' space - she then goes out, he must have come home, seen the car and squirted whatever shit he does all over the bonnet (it's totally trashed the paintwork).

The best bit (according to NDN) is that she didn't take out the damage insurance and so this time, HE will discover how expensive his malicious little game is! Plus, a number of people heard his "confession" so hopefully this will be the last time.

If anyone sees the Karma fairy, please thank her from me!

Genius, serves him right!

ValancyJane · 16/04/2016 14:01

Bloody brilliant! :)

anotherdayanothersquabble · 16/04/2016 14:04

Tell the police.. Perhaps they will be able to interview him, his wife and the garage owners and caution him.

AugustaFinkNottle · 16/04/2016 14:06

Excellent!

But, if this hasn't stopped him, I suggest someone living nearby sets up a camera trained on the parking spot outside his house. It should be simple enough to get the evidence to get him charged with that.

BoneyBackJefferson · 16/04/2016 14:07

this is great

"HE will discover how expensive his malicious little game is!"

Has he damaged other cars before?

eddielizzard · 16/04/2016 14:11

hahahah sweet sweet sweet karma

Janecc · 16/04/2016 14:15

Or op reports him to the police?

Lollylovesbones · 16/04/2016 14:15

Great story.

We had a spate of cars being keyed in our road, neighbour was arrested when she failed to notice that there was someone in the car (blacked out windows) as she dragged her key across the paint.

Lilmisskittykat · 16/04/2016 14:17

That's awful that you have people who would do that .. Squirting stuff and keying cars.

I get bothered if I lose my space on the street but that's too far..

I'm glad they both got caught Grinkarma is brilliant

wineoclockthanks · 16/04/2016 14:18

I'm still walking around with a huge smile on my face.

We've never had any actual evidence it was him in the past, there is an alleyway which joins our road just next to his house and he has always blamed the damage on the kids that hang about in there smoking and being kids. Our suspicions were raised as it was never his car damaged, just anyone else's in 'his' space.

I'm pretty sure he won't have the audacity to even think about doing it again but if it does happen, the Police will definitely be involved again. (I think one of the neighbours took a photo so we do have evidence)

IceRoadDucker · 16/04/2016 14:40

EXCELLENT! Thank you for this thread. I imagine it'll make anyone suffering a Parking Twat feel momentarily better.

RaspberryOverload · 16/04/2016 15:11

Does he realise he's effectively admitted to the damage? And that enough people heard him?

Serves him right Grin

LitteRedSparke · 16/04/2016 15:53

oh wow - how wonderful!

MintyChops · 16/04/2016 16:21

Love it, malicious git gets his comeuppance, very pleasing.....

travellinglighter · 16/04/2016 17:45

If there was a sudden spate of malicious car damage to my car then I think the suspect would suddenly find that his car wasn’t exempt.

However, I would definitely involve the police and I would phone the garage and explain to them who vandalise it.

Angelika321 · 16/04/2016 18:05

We have one of those types a couple of doors away. Last week a zip car type was parked next door to his house. He was going on about how it could be left there for weeks until it was hired out. A day later someone had smeared dog shit all over the drivers door and handle. The car was removed the same day.

He keeps an eye on every car which parks oh the road getting more and more het up over people daring to use our road to park.

Cars parked outside his house often get keyed and on occasion tyres have been slashed. It's obviously him but without proof nothing can be done.
