We did not tell anyone either and we are a very open family! I found it easier that way as I felt I was failing by not being able to get pregnant like everyone else and that I didnt want everyone enquiring about something so sensitive, personal and private.
I had surgery and only person who knew was dh. You do not need to tell anyone unless you want to. I am now pregnant and I am not sharing that information with anyone (except parents) until 12 weeks. even though sil has recently shared with whole family she is 5 weeks pregnant. I think they may be a bit miffed we kept our news to ourselves, but in what it took to get this far, im not ready to share yet. So they will have to suck it up if they have any issues.

Best of luck, I was in your shoes 10 months ago, its a hard journey to start down. I wish you a very speedy journey and the best of luck Flowers

'any news yet?'

Oh god, I remember that!

I bitterly regretted telling my DM that we were TTC.

You can always tell more people, you cant tell fewer people.

YANBU, we went through fertility treatment and apart from my mum, sister and close friend who had already been through it we told no one. You don't have to share personal medical information with anyone if you don't want to and nobody has any right to know either!
