I also have no idea who 'Corby' is but my tablet wants to post about him rather than 'Corbin'.

Maybe because it's Corbyn? Wink

LilacSpunkMonkey · 11/04/2016 21:57

Yes, I'm going to blame my tablet for that one too...

Lifeisgreaterthandeath · 11/04/2016 22:01

I think that removing the mote would negate the need to lower the drawbridge, so to speak

Lifeisgreaterthandeath · 11/04/2016 22:02

Corby is a labour stronghold

KurriKurri · 11/04/2016 22:12

I agree - people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw a rolling stone that gathers no moss.

or in DC's case - don't cast your penis before swine.

catewood21 · 11/04/2016 22:29

What has Corbyn done?

Lweji · 11/04/2016 22:31

Apparently he filed his tax return a bit late.

ClopySow · 11/04/2016 22:41

David? Is that you?

Or George? Been at the old columbian marching powder again?

GiddyOnZackHunt · 11/04/2016 22:46

The politics of envy. Don'tcha know thou shalt not cover thy neighbours piggy.

GiddyOnZackHunt · 11/04/2016 22:47

covet you philistine autocorrect Angry

ConferencePear · 11/04/2016 22:50

...... and don't cover it whatever else you do. It's illegal.

I see Dennis Skinner was thrown out again.

Pettywoman · 11/04/2016 22:55

I'd be covering my piggy if Cameron was around.

GiddyOnZackHunt · 11/04/2016 23:19

Very true. Pigs in blankets shouldn't throw stones.

GiddyOnZackHunt · 11/04/2016 23:20

And cast not your pearls before swine. Very important that.

MrsVamos · 11/04/2016 23:25

Dennis Skinner made me laugh. "You can throw me out but to me, he'll always be Dodgy Dave".

I thought 'Dave' wouldn't have minded that. Less upsetting than some names I've seen him called !

MrsVamos · 11/04/2016 23:25

Giddy [ grin]

MrsVamos · 11/04/2016 23:26

Ffs. Grin

Its late. That's my excuse.

TheHauntedFishtank · 11/04/2016 23:27

People who live in glass houses should get undressed in the dark.

novemberchild · 12/04/2016 00:01

People who live in glass houses shouldn't make omelettes with eggs from birds in the bush.

Andrewofgg · 12/04/2016 06:20

Tony Benn did a Mrs Cameron after his wife died to save Inheritance Tax down the road when he died. Good for him, good for her, good for anyone who does it. None of us is here as a charity to support the bloody Exchequer.

Ememem84 · 12/04/2016 06:35

So again. No ones done anything illegal by investing offshore. The media have said its illegal when it's not. It's tax avoidance (legal). Not tax evasion (illegal).

I understand Corbyn is calling for offshore finance industries to be shut down. So that'll mean people, hundreds of people like me, normal people with lives mortgages rent bills to pay not earning 6/7 figure salaries and bonuses will be out of work.

Andrewofgg · 12/04/2016 06:41

As for Skinner, he is a self-publicist and an arsehole. He sits on the Benches hour after hour passing comment on other Members' speeches, apparently convinced that whatever is under discussion and whoever is speaking he, Skinner, knows better and everyone wants to hear from him then and there.

But he avoids the detailed committee work which goes on where there are no cameras!

redshoeblueshoe · 12/04/2016 06:49

ghosty I might steal that Grin

WallToWallBastards · 12/04/2016 07:02

Looking at Jezza's tax return, all I want to know is where he's getting paid £500 for doing surveys Wink
