I don't interpret the 'D's to myself. It's just "Dee Aitch/Dee Bee/Dee Ess/Dee Dee" etc.

TheNumberfaker · 05/04/2016 07:09

Eye Boo. And then Yan Boo or Yar Boo depending on the unreasonableness of the OP of the thread.

lamusic · 05/04/2016 09:15

A-bew (rhyming with pew)

Highsteaks · 05/04/2016 09:20

I think I say it in my head as 'am I being un' and missing off the reasonable bit? I must have been here too long Smile

When I see DH, DS, DD, I automatically just read it as husband, son, daughter as if it's a language kn itself! I never think about dear or darling?

Same with AF I just read it as 'period'.

Assquatch · 05/04/2016 09:23

StrapOnDodo · 05/04/2016 12:38

I just see it as a sort of symbol, I don't sound it out. Like if I put have a Wine, I don't say 'glass of wine' I just know that's what it is.

I read very quickly though, in chunks.
