I cheated on my husband!

... In my dream last night. I even remember thinking "Mr MooPoint will not like this!"

I don't remember the specifics of the cheat but I felt very guilty upon waking up. I hardly have time for my own husband so I don't know how I could manage a bit on the side, I assume in my dream universe I have a different job that's not 60 hours a week and my one year old is much older and sleeps through the night...!

I'm either completely bonkers for feeling guilty or there's some deep psychological problem that my subconscious is trying to tell me about.

Have you ever dream cheated? Did you confess?

I do this, then wake up feeling guilty so I know what you mean! Or I wake up slightly in love with my dream shag all day and can't shake it off

I used to have quite regular nightmares about Voldemort, never really understood it. Then once I had a dream I had left my DP for Voldemort (we're talking no nose Voldemort, not pre deformed Tom Riddle version!) and we were living happily in a little flat with a garden with loads of flowers.

Woke up horrified, did not tell DP

I once had a dream about having sex (with DP as it happens).
When I woke up he said "That was a good dream you were having last night, you were so obviously enjoying it." Apparently I had been groaning and going through all the motions. I teased him and said "you were a lot better in the dream".

I have occasionally dreamt that dh was having an affair and then been really pissy with him the next morning. Poor guy.

I do this a lot. Mind you DC3 is 9 months old and still co-sleeping and rarely lets me get on with life while she sleeps so our sex life is practically non-existent. So I'm taking what I can get from these dreams!

I've had some fabulous dream sex. I turned down alan rickman a while back though, I was very cross with my dream self for that.
Sometimes I dream about dh being an arse or cheating and I wake up totally emotionally drained and furious at him poor man.

Dreams don't count. I have twice got it on with Barack Obama in my dreams. DH is American and has Republican leanings so make of that what you will. Guilty feelings? Hell no.

I once dreamt that I did all manner of depraved things with my boss (he was pretty hot though). Next day I must admit to being a bit flustered when called into his office. Years later at a gathering I told him, he admitted to having the same

Well better in a dream than real life . I had a few quite graphic sexual dreams about a very attractive man I saw and spoke to quite regularly last summer (in his work capacity, me as client). One was the night before an appointment and I was in a right state when I saw him and felt very embarrassed. Sadly he left that job. I do have a feeling he's gay so not like I was in with much chance anyway.

The night before last I left DD at a party in a barn being hosted by Kate & Wills and went home with Ed Sheeran!

I was a slightly disappointed that the second bit was only a dream .

I do this all the time, I even have sleepgasms sometimes! I am quite sexually frustrated due to DH's health issues. I tell him all about my sex dreams and he just laughs and thinks I'm mad (he doesn't dream AT ALL). They are never about people I lust over in real life though. I have tried to dream about Jake Gyllenhaal etc but it just doesn't work.

I can however report that Rick Mayall was a randy bugger, Bob Mortimer was a bit whiffy and Declan Donnelly was a sensitive and generous lover. I had a proper sleep relationship with Marilyn Manson and I felt funny for a few days afterwards, it really felt like he was my boyfriend and I had lost him.

I usually dream that I have genuine feelings and a deep connection with my dream conquests, it's not just sex. Most recently I had one about a man I don't know and it was really powerful and moving and I like to remember it. Unfortunately in the dream my mom walked in and interrupted us during a torrid hump in the bath; I felt quite cross with her the next day, that's typical of her, nosing around and spoiling my fun.

Apparently the brain is not able to invent faces, so every time you dream about a stranger they are actually someone you have seen (but maybe forgotten) at some time in your life! I have no idea how science can know or prove this, however. I would feel very strange if I bumped into my most recent dream boyfriend.

Yep, I've been there - though now my subconscious has started inserting a clause whereby DH would be fine with extramarital sex, though it's never clear in my dream what that reason would be - deals nicely with the guilt.

Have also been unable to shake the feeling of being furious all day with DH for cheating in my dreams so my subconscious has terrible double standards.

Tbh I was hardened to all the guilt after a huge quantity of pregnancy sex dreams when I was up the duff with DS1 - the pinnacle of which was a particularly saucy encounter with a blue inflatable dwarf while I was tied to an old-fashioned writing desk.
