Do it!!

then link us so we can watch and giggle

SuffolkNWhat · 01/04/2016 08:41

Teacups I know how to bypass the swear filter so your announcement can really put the shit up them!

GlacindaTheTroll · 01/04/2016 08:48

"one that's a little bit pinker than Mumsnet and a little bit bluer than Netmums"

Grin

Yes, people will remember it. Every site has it's long standing members with memories like a mythical elephant and know exactly what's been done before.

TeacupsandFigs · 01/04/2016 08:52

OK, if I get banned from Netmums I'll blame you all...

Coconutty yeah, why not have a laugh, sure the netmums folk will have a laugh too.

"I just heard about the proposed Mumsnet-Netmums merger so I thought I'd better come and see what Netmums is like, not sure I'm convinced that it's going to work but never mind, sure I'll get used to it.

Not sure if I should offer a olive branch or a glass of gin or just a cup of tea and cakes to be honest but I'm sure you'll put me right.

So, what's it really like here?"

Every site has it's long standing members with memories like a mythical elephant and know exactly what's been done before.

If only I could remember useful things...

TeacupsandFigs · 01/04/2016 09:01

Yeah, I just saw that reply. I reckon they are either a MNER having a laugh or they have guessed it's a joke and are playing along.

That'll fill nicely with sarky comments from MNrs incognito 😂

londonrach · 01/04/2016 09:02

Whos netmums?

GlacindaTheTroll · 01/04/2016 09:02

Soup - it's the regular chant at revision time 'if only I could remember exam stuff like I remember this stuff'

('this stuff' varying depending on who was speaking and their current passion)

NeedACleverNN · 01/04/2016 09:02

I must admit I have ventured over to net mums if the question I need answering pops up in Google.

They do seem nice, maybe overly nice sometimes but I don't like the layout on my phone so prefer mumsnet. It's nice and easy to navigate, you get an honest reply and there are some genuinely nice people on here too

Sleepyfergus · 01/04/2016 09:03

Another forum for mums online. I only use it occasionally for local stuff (events, party recommendations, trade, etc). It's better than MN local boards for that sort of thing.

Has it gone poof already?

Sparklingbrook · 01/04/2016 09:08

Mmm. Thinking about doing it is one thing but actually doing it. Confused

x2boys · 01/04/2016 09:09

Appears to have done Martha?
