I've spent the day re-doing my finances in readiness for 1st April and have realised that next month's credit card instalments will be the final ones needed to clear the debt that I've spent almost three years paying down. I've typed up letters closing my accounts in readiness, can't wait to be debt free.

Also cheerful because it's been a lazy weekend in a good way, i.e. not mindlessly binging Netflix, but catching up on reading, paperwork, getting stuff done.

Been to visit my brand new baby niece. Gorgeous, beautiful, chubby cheeked, all pink and fleshy and healthy.

Went to slimming world to get weighed before and I have lost 1 stone in 2 weeks. Now if I can do that every week, I should be my healthy weight in 8 weeks haha.

This thread has made me happy.

Also, taking the dog for a walk along the sea front today with my best friend, DH and the DCs.

Have got an interview for dream job stating June this year. No guarantee I'll get it, but is in uni town and would pay enough for me to rent a room somewhere so wouldn't have to move back to parents after uni

Arranged a catch up with friend I've not seen in ages

Kid free til Wednesday, only me, DH, 2 dogs and 2 cats. And thanks to a recent lumbar puncture in relatively pain free!

A lovely long weekend with DD, a surprise new book in the post from an old friend, a kitchen that feels vast after DD and I did a joint de-clutter of her toys and the toy cooker etc got exiled to the garage
