Thank you to everyone who came to xxxx's baby shower today, we are going to make a fortune on EBay!

So when you went to pick it up three weeks later what happened? Hmm

lorelei9here · 28/03/2016 11:21

he ebayed your stuff?

why do you even speak to him?

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 28/03/2016 11:27

What should have hapened is this:
"Police please. I want to report a theft".

As for the FB comment, I well remember the mother of one of DD's classmates whining that she couldn't eBay book tokens: "wot they wanna give er them? She can't facking read".

grapejuicerocks · 28/03/2016 11:32

Why didn't you get the money he made for them, off him at least?

StuRedman · 28/03/2016 11:35

So what did you say when he said he'd stolen and sold your stuff?

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 28/03/2016 11:40

Dh has made me promise I won't comment.

What hold does this 'best mate' have over your DH?!

ThatsNotMyRabbit · 28/03/2016 11:43

Unbelievably rude 🙄

RonniePickering · 28/03/2016 11:43

I find it utterly bizarre you have allowed someone to get away with selling your property.

GlitteryFluff · 28/03/2016 11:52

I agree Ronnie

No! Don't comment borrow something and eBay it!!!

Damselindestress · 28/03/2016 12:01

I'm shocked he sold your patio set and that you're still friends. That's theft. I thought he was joking about the baby shower but I can see why you don't find it funny after what he did.

VinoTime · 28/03/2016 12:07

My response to his status would be:

Great! With the money you make flogging everybody's thoughtful gifts, you can finally pay to replace the patio set we let you borrow last year, the one you ever so kindly sold on eBay without us knowing. I'll send you a link of the set we would like once I've done some research Smile

Absolutely borrow something of his and eBay it, you can't sell his car without the log book unfortunately otherwise I would
