YABU. The girls needs a family. One has to be found and this is a way.

YABU.

Sorry a bit blunt of me. This has made me think of adopting in the future and hopefully will help these girls stay together,it might even help somebody on here complete their family.

JamaisDodger · 24/03/2016 21:45

I get that you're uncomfortable OP, but how would you go about getting parents for these children? All other avenues will have been pursued.

My darling DC waited a year for me to find them. I waited even longer, but they were so worth it.

I understand what you're saying but the most important thing is these children will be found homes. It's hardly as though someone who was not otherwise considering adoption will suddenly decide to adopt, children being a rather bigger commitment than a pet
But it does make people think about and look into adoption. They may not adopt the kids in the ad they see, but find a match for their family through adoption.

It makes me feel uncomfortable too op, as do adoption parties. But you can't argue with their relative success rates and that's the most important point to keep in mind. My nephews were an older sibling pair who were weeks away from being separated until dsis adopted them. It's a horrible fact that hard to place children are highly likely to continue to grow up in successive temporary care arrangements without local authorities using tactics such as this.

Yabu because now I feel sad and want to adopt all three of them, if only I had a bigger house!

I get what you're saying, yanbu but sadly it's the only way sometimes and it might lead to great parent(s) giving them a happy life.
