Sat at seaside cafe watching DH on beach supervise children/stop them drowning. He hasn't stopped all week but I've been with the children all week (SAHM).. They have been driving me mad. So I'm just enjoying the view.... Grin

AStreetcarNamedBob · 19/03/2016 14:55

extrahot Grin haha yep...

NoTractorsAtTheTable · 19/03/2016 14:56

Personally, I find cafe windows can be a bit difficult to see out of, something about the glass... you can miss seeing all sorts of things Wink

(maybe buy him a lolly later though)

RandomMess · 19/03/2016 14:57

Just rest your eyes a little while, or read the paper...

DurhamDurham · 19/03/2016 14:58

Just enthusiastically wave back, he's having a blast!!

ABitSensible · 19/03/2016 14:58

Surely he is gesturing to say have a cake with that coffee, we;'re all fine?

Topseyt · 19/03/2016 15:00

Cafes don't have windows that you can see out of, do they? Wink

Thornrose · 19/03/2016 15:01

Gesture? Nah, that's definitely him signalling what a great time he's having. Grin

RedRainRocks · 19/03/2016 15:03

See you gesturing darling? Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you were pointing out a sea bird to the children....

FreezerBird · 19/03/2016 15:04

In my experience, the windows of seaside cafes are often a bit salty and hard to see out of.

InQuiteAPickle · 19/03/2016 15:04

The windows are really dirty - must be all the salt from the sea water.

InQuiteAPickle · 19/03/2016 15:05

Great minds, FreezerBird! Grin

Traitor. Now they'll all want us to join in.

spiceynutsaddiction · 19/03/2016 16:30

I was suddenly worried if I had a second coffee it might seem like I'd had time to myself - I'm sneakily planning on some proper child free shopping time tomorrow!

Well DD is supposed to be going to the beach this afternoon with DH and her GF. If they expect me to go, I'm blaming you.

spiceynutsaddiction · 19/03/2016 17:25

It wasn't so bad. DS2, toddler, has hit that age where he only wants Daddy. It's great. Grin

spiceynutsaddiction · 19/03/2016 17:46

DH has been away for two weeks on business - he got back this morning and I was seriously tempted to just throw the kids at him and run.

I didn't, but he is now downstairs giving them their tea while I Mumsnet and drink wine run their bath.

spiceynutsaddiction · 19/03/2016 18:13

Two weeks is long. Enjoy your wine.
