AIBU to be both happy and concerned over IDS resignation

Iain Duncan Smith has resigned citing concerns over disability benefit reforms.

I am partly happy.

However feeling concerned over who will replace and thinking if he was concerned over the changes who was putting the current ones through and what will happen now?

Ridiculous to think all of a sudden IDS has some sort of conscience. This is pure politicking. It's good to see the shit it's causing the evil Tories though and the media coverage of the proposed disability cuts and their link to tax cuts damaging for the party. But let's not kid ourselves IDS gives a flying fuck about disabled people. Of course he signed those cuts off before they were announced

Who cares that he's anti-gay when he was born to a single mother (battered, no less) in a council house. It's 'my-dad-was-a-bus-driver' bingo all over again. Well that's alright then.

Sorry - I apologise for assuming GO meant one of the LEAVE campaigns when it has been pointed out to me that it was George Osborne.

I would be quite happy to see GO and his mate DC disappear into oblivion.

He must not remember all the tory and tory press vitriol against single mothers. They were their total, all-out hate figures for at least a decade.

Everything wrong with society was the fault of single mothers, according to the tories and the Daily Mail, etc. The danger of this bloke is, he is probably out to prove something in a Norman Tebbit kinda way.
