To think going through pregnancy alone will be awful

This is the part I most dread (going to be a single parent) am I correct in thinking this?

Hi OP, I hope you feel heartened by some of the stories here.

I am alone and pregnant. I have had every pregnancy complication possible - both serious and trivial and even then pregnancy has been very, very far from the worst experience I have had.
Don't get me wrong, it would be amazing to have someone to rub my massive feet or do the washing but a lot of it is about mindset and resilience.

You can do this, you are stronger than you realise. There's loads of things to enjoy and feel wonderment about. Try to enjoy it, whatever happens. Go easy on yourself. And if you're having a bad day, remember, pregnancy ends! It's the bit afterwards I think I may struggle with!

I was single (intentionally) whilst pregnant, and my baby is now 4 weeks old. I had a fairly straightforward pregnancy, and am a very independent person, so I valued doing everything my way and on my terms.

That said, I have a good support system in local family members who have been available pre and post birth with hot food and offers of help,
