To be pisses off at dp for eating my cake?

I baked some cupcakes for family the other day and saved two, one for me and one for dp. They're gluten free as I have coeliacs disease. Dp has loads of treats he can eat that I can't. I was looking forward to having it when ds went to sleep (he's a baby) but dp ate both cakes!

Aibu to be pissed off? And can anyone think of a suitable punishment?

Disclaimer: lighthearted post.

Argh! Your! Sorry.

Even without the GF thing I'd have really gone to town making sure DP didn't steal my cake again. I'm not really one for missing out on sweet things though.

I'm glad he feels bad but is that enough? Have you considered waxing his eyebrows off whilst he sleeps?

also, if you combine laxative AND chilli in the next batch, he'll feel the burn from both ends. Teach him to touch your cakes!

As somebody who can't eat dairy this would piss me off.
Was the rocky road delicious. Was it dairy free as well as gluten free? (Looking after my own interests)
Make sure he buys you some genius gluten free cupcakes as well. The rocky road should be the apology but he needs to replace your cakes too.

Fratelli · 12/03/2016 06:56

It was delicious yes! It's wheat, dairy, egg and gluten free!

I hope he does read mn! Might knock some sense into him Grin

Ohhh chilli and laxative cakes...yummy!

Off to morrisons today to seek out some rocky road . Decent chocolate is the one thing I miss since going dairy free.

Fratelli · 12/03/2016 18:54

Ohhh I hope you enjoy it!

I also have coeliac disease (sorry to be picky - no s at the end).

I would be really proper furious. Treats for me are rare and I am horribly precious about them. Like you said, they can have absolutely anything. Hah.

I would LTB.

The theft would be bad enough. The laughing? Unforgivable.

doughnutslikefannys · 12/03/2016 20:17

I know this is lighthearted and you're being really nice about it but I'd flip my shit in that situation. The fact that he laughed and tried to be cute about it is so much worse too.

It's rude and bloody disrespectful. He consciously ate both knowing that you couldn't have anything else!

Fratelli · 13/03/2016 11:09

Ernest I'm not really arsed about the spelling, just the fact that my dp knows I haven't been able to have gluten since the age of 5!

doughnuts trust me I was so grumpy! Revenge will be sweet....pun intended!

Poor you. I've only had to deal with this crap for 3 years but i am horribly possessive of my gf stuff. It is sacred. Here in Germany it's much harder to get gf 'treats' so it is like gold dust and blood would be spilt if someone nabbed mine.

And if they found it funny Angry
