Totally serious. They are AMAZING. I've had 1 already, and I can't stop thinking about their chocolaty-nuttyness.

I am pregnant and feel this gives me some leeway wrt eating - and I don't normally pig out.

So, AIBU?!

Yes - I'm doing it for the baby - obviously Grin

Eat them all. I was dipping reeses peanut butter bars in peanut butter and wrapping them in a ripped open brioche when I was pregnant, my daughter is 8 months old and I still do it sometimes. Pregnancy is amazing for this sort of indulgence and it really helps!

BumpTheElephant · 10/03/2016 21:32

There's double peanut butter magnums??
I can't possibly comment until I have tried one or three myself. Thank you for bringing their existence to my attention op!

memyselfandaye · 10/03/2016 21:36

I had the crappest pregnancy cravings, water, who the fuck craves that? It had to be Evian and had to have a sports cap.

I also desperately wanted a real Slush Puppy, circa 1984, but I could only find cheapo convenience shop types, I wanted real blue raspberry with all the E numbers and additives. I googled and googled to try and find a Slush Puppy machine, I was prepared to travel over at least two counties, but I just couldn't fine one.

It was Christmas 2011, I may have resorted to eating the snow off the garden wall.

andadietcoke · 10/03/2016 21:36

I can a) confirm that asda sell them, and b) that magnums have shrunk...

PS yes I know it's a tip. Really, really bad day.

WaitrosePigeon · 10/03/2016 21:37

Have you done it yet?

KC225 · 10/03/2016 21:44

OMG

That sounds like a fantasy on a stick. I have moved abroad....... Will they still be around when we visit in summer?

Scoff away, do three for me.

iamdivergent · 10/03/2016 21:53

No I only managed two. Afraid of chocolate coma if I went for the third. Plus I am now lying cocooned in bed. Lifestyles of the pregnant eh?

I think you need to eat them all because otherwise I will have to, and I'm not pregnant.

DD was constructed almost entirely out of Magnums. They didn't have peanut butter ones at the time, but if they had had, I'd have had to eschew them on the grounds of the NHS's short lived and now utterly discredited advice that pg and BF women should not eat peanuts, which lasted almost exactly from the commencement of my first pg to the completion of my last breast feed.

TheNoodlesIncident · 10/03/2016 22:14

On a similar note, there are peanut butter Cornettos available but They Are Not Good.

Stick to the Magnums. (I've just had one of the mini Magnums that we buy "for DS". It was delicious but small.)

stopfaffing · 10/03/2016 22:31

Nooooooo! Yet another delicious yummy ice cream thing I have to learn to resist Sad.

notquitehuman · 10/03/2016 23:56

Agree that peanut butter cornettos are shit. They only have the teeniest hint of artificial peanut flavour.

Ben and Jerry's with Reeses peanut butter cups is bloody good though.

becksblue · 11/03/2016 00:02

Back with my verdict on them.... Posh snickers ice cream? No bad thing of course but the almond magnum remains my fave.

BurstBees · 11/03/2016 00:09

I ate two salted caramel Magnums one after the other and it works brilliantly as aversion therapy. Felt so ill after the second one I may never eat a Magnum again. I plan to test this theory on other treats...

AlbusPercival · 11/03/2016 18:24

OhSoggyBiscuit have you seen the Swedish glacé strawberry magnums? They are dairy free

Wristy · 11/03/2016 19:05

Jesus!!! They sound amazing.

Plus I'm drooling at the thought of Netflix's recipe ideas.

God my dinner is going to be such a disappointment Envy

iamdivergent · 11/03/2016 19:19

Still have the third one. Saving it for later on as just had a massive bowl of crumble and custard

I am shaking at the thought of double peanut butter magnums, my mouth has gone dry with longing. I need one like NOW.

OhSoggyBiscuit · 11/03/2016 19:56

AlbusPercival Ooooh I didn't know they did those! I have a tub of the vanilla ice cream because that's all our Tesco sells.

Pinkheart5915 · 11/03/2016 19:59

Your pregnant go for it.

I am pregnant and today have done a whole tub of carte dor ice cream and 2 bars of green and blacks and I loved it
I must add I am normally good with healthy eating even during pregnancy but sometimes like today the sugar craving drives me crazy and I have to give in.

Fanfeck · 11/03/2016 20:20

I'm SO annoyed I've just put DD up to bed otherwise I would drag her to Tesco on a hunt for these Shock

ZootSuit · 11/03/2016 22:44

Found in Asda today at special price of £1.74! And now hidden in the freezer Grin

Abominablebride · 11/03/2016 22:48
