To wonder why Ikea are allergic to poppers (and other impracticalities)

Another night, another morning waking up to find my duvet has fallen out of my Ikea duvet cover. Is it really so hard for them to put poppers or buttons along the opening? I know I could sew them on myself...

There must be other things with little impracticalities like this. Toasters that don't fit a whole slice of bread, anyone?

Oh yes, I forgot about my gripe with ikea kitchen cupboards...

Why are they so deep??

a) you don't want heavy crockery two deep in your cupboards because its a pita to heft everything out to get the thing at the back, then heft it all back in again

and

b) actually they only fit in a plate-and-a-half deep anyway which is neither use nor ornament

A zipped duvet cover is genius. Doing up all the fecking buttons or poppers is extremely irritating.

I have baskets in my deep Ikea cupboard, but admittedly don't keep crockery in it

Fannycraddock I thought that was the case with mine and I was cursing it until my Mum came in and told me that you can lift the top tray (which in turn lifts the spinny thing). Apparently most dishwashers have 2 or 3 height settings. Who knew Blush

Vvviola I will be checking this shortly, if it works, big Wineheading your way!!
