Sharapova may not be the best example to use today, but her story has hilighted the problem of performance enhancing drugs in sport.

Do you ever what will happen to the abundance of enthusiasm and talent of your child and or those who surround them at clubs or on teams?
Will those most likely to succeed have their talents tarnished by drugs.

So much time and money is invested in some sports, so many families give the sport their all in pursuance of glory and challenge trying to emulate sporting heroes, and then another scandal hits and you see so many of the global success stories are shams of drugs and cheating and fixing.
In other sports it's the diet or dieting, the weight issues anorexia and bulimia to be the right size.
They probably all started out as enthusiastic pre-teens chasing a dream when did they change direction?
Were their parents in on the change or did coaches and managers just take over.

Those most likely to succeed are those already mired in drugs, there are plenty of examples of parents fully complicit, cheating has been endemic in sport for ever, there really is no difference now to before, the attention on drugs may even help a little bit.
