Just that really.

So many are slated and she's not perfect, by any stretch, but I still love her! Spending Sunday with her and she's cooking for all of us. Can't be bad, eh!

So why don' I have a MiL that I can rant about over here?Angry

I love my mil too, we get on very well. She is a kind hearted woman easy to talk to and has always been happy I married her son.
She also does a lot for us and helps any way she can with our son (6months)

mimishimmi · 04/03/2016 19:21

I love mine too. She's lovely.

Greenteandchives · 04/03/2016 19:25

Okay which one of you is my DIL? I am fabulous.

Katsu, I'm not implying anything of the sort. It's been lovely reading the responses here and to find that I'm not alone. Sometimes I read so many awful MiL threads that I wonder if it's the natural order of things and I'm in a minority or some sort of oddball!Grin

However, some of these threads are hilarious and posters are provided with such ammunition and, quite frankly, just bloody good reasons for them to have a good old rant - both in private here and in public to family and to the actual cause of the temper tantrum. MiL and I have had the occasional barney but usually it's a bit of in vino veritas followed by a morning of recriminations. Generally, I've nothing to complain about.

Ah well, it could be worse. I could have something to complain about!Wink

I love mine too. She's completely batty, drives me nuts with her favouritism of notverynice BIL. But she's a pretty fab woman. My FIL is awesome. I'm having them round on Sunday with my DPs. It'll be hilarious (I hope, or WW3, which still could be quite amusing)

underrugsswept · 04/03/2016 19:35

I love mine too, she's brilliant.

figginz · 04/03/2016 19:36

Love mine too

YANBU, my ex MIL was an absolute bitch. My MIL on the other hand is amazing and I love her as much as my own DM

DontBuyANewMumCashmere · 04/03/2016 19:42

I love mine. All my ILs welcomed me into their family, they're all loving, kind, funny and thoughtful.
My mil is sweet and cooks delicious food. I love them.
We've just spent a long weekend there, I never want to leave. Once when I was pg I broke down in tears because I'd had such a lovely time and didn't want to go home! GrinBlush

YANBU, I love mine too and since going on maternity leave we meet up at least once a week without DH. We are actually both really similar which freaks DH out.

MrsWembleyHasADouble · 04/03/2016 19:43

Greentea, I hope you're not my MiL! I really don't want her knowing how much I swear...Shock
