I met him in Miami about 4 years ago he is actually a really nice man, didn't have a clue who he was at the time, DH and I were in a restaurant on Collins and he came in with his minders (I thought he might have been the local drug dealer) DH was speaking to the waiter in Spanish (well trying to) and he came and joined in the conversation.

Anyway he introduced himself as Armando and gave us some tips about good places in Miami, he left before us, when we went to pay the bill we found he had paid it for us.

I like his music, started liking his stuff in 2011 but I find him a bit scary looking. Maybe it's the name.

This thread is wobbling very close to racism. My DH is cuban and they are treated awful in parts of latin america and are blamed for all crimes in certain countries where they have been emigrated to.

I don't see any racism in this thread?
