Homeopathy for refugees

Already nearly hit it's target too!

I think that alternative therapies do have their place in helping people feel cared for and looked after. I know very well the placebo effect works on me so it has value.

That said, I'd be damned if I would donate so someone could go and hawk some magic beans - especially a project so lacking in actual information. Sounds like a big con. I agree wholeheartedly with Wotoodoo.

What's the problem we're trying to solve?
Supporting homeopaths helping refugees in the Calais Jungle

Why do we care about this?
It's important

How will the money be spent?
To cover expenses of volunteers, provide remedies, supplements, educational information

When will supporters see the difference?
Ongoing for as long as necessary

That is as much information as you get, anyone who donates is an idiot.

Exactly Blanche I was never sneering at all. Just chuckled at the idea that homeopathy would help refugees. And not laughing at refugees either.

I see it more as giving refugees a choice. Like the rest of the population, some refugees will favour mainstream medicine, but there will be some who prefer a homeopathic approach.

At least, if they are given a choice, they become just a little bit empowered - which probably goes a long way, given the situation they are in. They won't be given many choices for anything else, sadly.

Helping the refugees is a misnomer. It is to help Homeopathic related companies/practitioners/ education advertising.
