Have there been any protests against Russia's massacre of Syrian civilians?

Russia has killed more Syrian civilians than Assad or ISIS in January yet there have been no calls to boycott Russia, no mass protests by the Stop the War Coalition, no "Russia - hands off Syria". Where the hell are the left when Russia is killing so many innocent, women and children under the guise of stopping ISIS? Why are Syrian lives cheap if they are killed by Russians?

Since the annexation/secession of Crimea, the UK and other EU states already have sanctions in place against Russia, and Russia has been kicked out of what was the G8 (now G7 again). What more do you think people should be asking the government to do about Russia's activities?

The Stop the War protests involved people in the UK protesting about action or intended action by the UK government. Since we all know that the Russian government would pay absolutely no attention to a bunch of foreigners protesting about their actions in a third party country, I'm not really sure what the point would be.

Finally, why fix on one particular month of civilian deaths, given that this is part of a series of overlapping, interconnected wars that have been going on for about 15 years now? While Russia is doing an excellent impression of not giving a toss about civilians in Syria (as in Chechnya), they are hardly uniquely bad. If we're going to protest against intervening states killing large numbers of civilians for no good reason (or failing to protect civilians they claimed to be helping, which is just as criminal), I'll get to Russia after I'm done with the UK, France, the US, Israel, Iran, and Saudi Arabia.

Well I personally would like to see what the world is going to do about Turkey and the impact on the Kurdish people not only in Syria but Turkey, Iraq and Iran.

Because Russia is a super power and pleased itself just like the US.

Always has always will.

Imagine Putin and Trump as the 2 most powerful people in the world.

Shudders

That's a horrifying thought summer . I'm afraid most people are right, Russia and Putin have a history of not caring at all. In fact they 'categorically denied it' which means most likely they did but it's their word against MSF etc and even if proven they still won't care.

I think they are making the whole situation worse, but they have their own agenda on this. Turkey too and various other states. Tracing everything back to the Arab spring maybe we made a mess of not offering better and more suitable support to countries who wished to become democracies? Who knows.

Russia knows that we don't agree, it doesn't care and we can't make it.

Who says they are "massacring civilians"? That sounds highly exaggerated. In most of these reports a small grain of truth is taken and then exaggerated upon so much that eventually an entirely new story is created. So for example here the grain of truth might be that Russia bombed a hospital or a market place, like many Western countries do from time to time, and someone decides that they must have done it deliberately so they run the story as Russia deliberately killing civilians, and then it just gets picked up on and circulated as the absolute truth.

I highly doubt that Russia are going around looking for civilians to kill. Not because they are a nice people in general, just because there's nothing in it for them to be doing that. They don't gain territory or win wars by killing people who aren't taking part in the war, plus they want to look legit on the world stage and the more civilians you kill the less legit you look. They might be targeting rebels and other opposition fighters, but those people are not and cannot be described as civilians.
