To consider joining a multi level marketing thingy!

I've never really given multi level marketing stuff any thought before, have in the past ordered from Avon reps and been quite happy etc but lately I just seem to be so broke despite working (part time as cannot afford more childcare)

There seems to be a lot of options, the likes of juice plus or forever living don't interest me at all but there are a few that is basically ordering things for people, no bullshitting or lies, just show them pictures of household items/gadgets and what not and if they want to buy they do- no pushy sales tactics involved?

Or am I being totally naive and missing something?
Why do these things get such a bad reputation? I know how irritating the culty ones can be but what about a no frills "here you go, you want one? Great I'll see you Wednesday!"

MissDread thank you for those sites, DH and I are needing extra cash for my maternity leave and they look perfect for us. Do you find it easy to get picked for articles? (Sorry to crash your thread OP)

I'm not endorsing any other thread, but now you come to mention it, the threads in Money Matters might be of interest to you. The very reason these schemes involve an overpriced, incidental product is to get around the legalities.

Again, I am pleased to be able to provide an opposite view here Lady. Those threads are incredibly binary.
I joined an mlm company because I wanted to get a discount on a product I was already buying at full price. I wasn't sold a way of making money - I find that the MLM companies that shout most about cars and money and wealth are the ones whose structure is more like a veiled cover for a pyramid scheme. However, my own experience has not been like this. I've not been coerced or lied to. I've been doing it for 3 years now and I'm happy doing it. It fits in well with another business I run too ( one I started myself), and the free training I've received has been invaluable to that one too.

This isn't the one I am part of, but I've often looked at Wikaniko with interest.

Lilygirl, it's very easy, yes. You just log on and see what's there and click on it if you want to write it. The only thing is that Copify have quite a short timeframe so you have to get it back to them within 3-4 hours. With the other sites the deadlines are usually 24 hours after you accept. Good luck!
