It wouldn't even need to do that inertia, it could just claim it had always felt like a housewife pillowcase, then get all the actual housewife pillowcases to budge up for it so it could tell them how hard it is to be a housewife pillowcase, and sue anyone who didn't buy it.

Inertia · 09/02/2016 16:30

Quite , OhShutUpThomas.

The housewife pillowcases had better not keep going on about their useful flaps though, because that would be othering.

I do think this linen issue needs a more public airing. I expect the transactivist community are already clamouring for their membership of the Housewives Co-operative of Bolton, and the chance to fully explore all of the Lancashire-based housewifery opportunities that womanhood has to offer.

Cis pillowcases anyone?

SavoyCabbage · 09/02/2016 17:28

Spooky because I was in Dunelm this very day looking for a housewife pillow case and they were called 'cuffed'. Oxford were still Oxford.

I was all 'what is the world coming to'.
