Beth Tweddle needs surgery on her back, Rebecca Addlington dislocated her shoulder, one of the Strictly dancers dos their hip last year

Why, WHY would you put your sports career that you've worked for for so many years, at risk for a stupid bloody tv show?! Injuries like these could potentially mean they'll never compete in their field again

It's utter bloody stupidity!

They do it for the same reasons they and others do CBB or I'm a Celeb.

Money primarily and exposure as their career is fading in the hope of kick starting a second career in reality.

Having read various news articles today, my earlier post was obviously utter crap Grin

A few years back there was a show on BBC1 called Only Fools on Horses where celebrities learned showjumping. I though that was bloody dangerous, but the Jump is something else altogether.

Beth Tweddle would be fab on Strictly. Why on earth she's chosen to do The Jump instead I don't know?

Beth's already done Dancing on Ice twice: won it once and finished third in the All Stars. Strictly seems to have an unofficial No Dancing On Ice Veterans policy because the shows are so similar that it would get very deja vu - although I think Bonnie Langford fancies her chances at breaking that barrier, and as the memory of DOI fades into dust they probably will recycle someone.
