I have my grumpy face on today.
We've moved home and our good friends (a couple) wanted to come round for a nosey. I offered to make them dinner and we arranged for them to come today at 4pm. DD had a birthday party to go early afternoon, so we weren't at home. At 2.30pm I got a text to say they were on their way (they live 5 minute drive away). However I didn't read it until I stopped at Sainsburys to get veg, at 2.45pm. By that point they'd turned around, and said they'd just come another day. I pointed out they weren't due until 4pm and she said "yes but thought we'd come early as we had the time free"
AIBU to think it's fucking rude to do this? I now have a huge bloody pie that's going to waste. Why do people think it's ok to be so early?!
