I used to believe the best way to get over someone was to get under someone.

For the first time in my life that isn't working. It's been seven months. I can't seem to move on.

What have you found that stops the pining, repetitive thoughts and fear of seeing them out etc...?

It's annoying as I could easily name 20 good reasons why we shouldn't and couldn't be together, and only really one why we should. The best sex I've ever had which I think is confusing my brain into thinking I was/am in love which I'm probably not but it's a total headfuck hence why I came on here to see what you lot suggest!

Eating healthy
Replacing every thought about them with a really positive thought about your life... Eg. "Oh, my ex... NO! I ate really well today and I'm going to Canada next summer"

I had the house repainted, replaced all pictures, new sofa ect.

Kept really busy, excercised loads.

It took years, but I had been with him 10 years and had two kids.

It's so so hard, I hated him but still loved him. Even now, years later I still think I would take him back.

However, he moved on within a few months, is now in a serious relationship ect.

Time is the best thing, it never stops being hard, but you get used to it.
