I opened the packet and bloody hell, they're not joking about the thin thing are they! I wanted to make a toasties with it on my Breville, by the time I lifted the lid up, I could barely see it, just melted cheese everywhere.

We all love them here. Maybe we just have low standards Wink

KurriKurri · 20/01/2016 17:21

I like them for sandwiches because I'm not a huge fan of bread. But you are right - toast them and what you have is crisps.

leccybill · 20/01/2016 17:29

I like those Warbutons Square Wraps for making mini pizzas too. Tom puree, cheese, toppings, oven. 5yo DD makes them for us.

OverScentedFanjo · 20/01/2016 17:33

Not as nice as the bagel thins. Perfect for a child's sandwich.

Marmitelover55 · 20/01/2016 17:42

I don't understand why they are so many weight watchers smart points?? I've swapped back to bread as a result.

Getyourflipflopson · 20/01/2016 17:58

They are 3 smart points each on weight watchers.

jellyfrizz · 20/01/2016 19:10

Yes Queenbean!!! Sometimes I just put cheese on the sandwich toaster so it goes all crispy and delicious.

Bellyrub1980 · 20/01/2016 19:16

I like them but I think they are quite high on slimming world. Plus I avoid them as I think I have a 'problem' when it comes to bread products. I'm drooling just thinking about cheese toasters!

LineyReborn · 20/01/2016 19:18

You need Slimcea bread and that woman floating off in a balloon in her brown maxi-dress with a bib and a flick fringe.

NorbertDentressangle · 20/01/2016 19:21

I like them but that's because I'm not keen on too much bread and find sandwiches too "bready"

The DC like them too, due to lack of crusts I think.

toffeeboffin · 20/01/2016 19:35

Just eat melted cheese instead

BinaryFinary · 20/01/2016 19:48

No crust? They're just one bloody crust

TheSkiingGardener · 20/01/2016 19:54

They're all pulpy and mushy though. Really odd texture but then I like a bread you have to chew

iwouldgoouttonight · 20/01/2016 20:04

I'm surprised people have said the gluten free ones are good, I had some as a free sample and they tasted like insoles. Maybe that's why they were free.

ouryve · 20/01/2016 20:07

They're just a something between a wrap and a pitta bread, aren't they? I wouldn't expect to make toast with them.

Gobbolino6 · 20/01/2016 20:15

I won't hear a word against them. YABVVVVVVU 😉.

NorthernRosie · 20/01/2016 20:18

I've not heard of them but just added to my Ocado order. If they're anything like bagel thins I am in for a TREAT

DottyBlue2 · 20/01/2016 20:19

The Warburtons website says that they can be toasted. I'd get Trade Descriptions onto them just go paleo

CakeNinja · 20/01/2016 20:34

Grin at tasted like insoles!
They are totally pointless in our house. Dd1 is the only one who likes them but she'd need about 3 before it would constitute enough to be lunch!
Dp and I low carb throughout the week with just a little something at the weekend, if I'm having bread, it's got to be bread, not a flipping dried out wobbly yet gluteny stodgy piece of slipper.

DustyCropHopper · 20/01/2016 20:35

I have topped them with cheese before and tossed them like cheese on toast but definitely not toastie material. They re great though. They are just the right size for the children's lunches and now I am doing weight watchers they are great for a low point lunch and fill me up!

SaucyJack · 20/01/2016 22:37

They are the perfect size to fit a piece of ready-sliced cheddar inside.

You can make a sandwich for school in roughly 12 secs- which is about the maximum length of time I want to spend on the job first thing in the morning.

edwinbear · 20/01/2016 23:02

Bit of peanut butter inside and they are a perfect, portable 200 calorie breakfast, we love them in our house

thisisbloodyridiculous · 20/01/2016 23:50

Spread a thin layer of garlic butter on - put in oven in foil for 5mins and voila delicious garlic bread that isn't very bready ...
