to think a 4th wedding ring is pushing it?

DH has done it again. He has lost his wedding ring for the 3rd time.

Original ring was bought in Paris. White gold. Relatively expensive.
Was lost in the sea when playing with the children.

Ring 2. I bought at Christmas a few months later. Sterling silver. Not cheap, but not expensive. Same design as 1st ring.
Was lost about a year later - playing in the sea with the kids (you'd think he'd have learnt his lesson).

Ring 3. Cheapest silver ring in the shop. Bought in the sale.
Lost it at the weekend sorting out the recycling.

WIBU to tell him he needs to buy his own this time (and should pick me up something while he's there)

We always said we'd go back to the jeweller in Paris when we were back on this side of the world (we were in NZ) and replace the ring properly. But frankly at this stage, I don't trust him not to lose the bloody thing again!

AIBU to draw the line at a 4th ring?!

I'm amazing that DH hasn't lost his yet as he always takes it off and plays with it. I don't think a night goes by where it doesn't drop on the floor.

He found it Grin

Emptied out the whole recyling bin and found it right at the bottom.

So he's off the hook ... until next time Grin

A hook. There's a thought. You should hook the ring to his hand.

Good news. Grin

What about a watch? Preferably one costing around 4k? Grin

Or a tattoo of a ring. ..

My wedding ring was too big and kept sliding off. My solution was to buy a diamond eternity ring in a smaller size, to keep it in place! Grin
