Dd has just constructed watched me construct a Lego treehouse she got for Christmas. It's a good set except for one thing: there's one minifig with it and he doesn't bend at the waist. He also doesn't have the grippy bits on the back of his legs which allow Lego people to stick to things when seated or lying down.

What are they thinking??? As well as being penny pinching it also condemns the poor Lego guy to a lifetime standing up. Aibu to write to Lego demanding a proper pair of legs?

That sounds like what my DS got last year. The child minifigures have shorter legs that don't bend or grip. I think it's because they're too small to fit the grippy bits and hingey bits on.

When I started playing with lego, the people didn't even have faces let alone bend at the waist. Of course that was back in the olden days when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

My DS old lego people have two moving legs so they can sit down.

The children don't bend and are shorter, the adults do.
