To HATE the new ratings on light bulbs?

I dont understand it at all, and it annoys me.

i've started refusing to buy them and make DH do it.

I want the old watt ratings back :(

LEDs have come down in price a lot though...and they will only continue to get cheaper. And there are now dimmable ones -still a bit more expensive than the standard ones but you could get a half decent one easily for around £8. And you can just replace each one as you need to - don't have to do them all at once.
