Light hearted. I've done it. I hate exercise, hate moving, hate any unnessecary effort - but I have joined!

Anyone else?

I'm joining ours again....I have quite a bit of Spare time especially about 4-6 so that's my aim.
I can be very motivated..I hate sport but like weights.
Our gym is cheap as chips but decent. And within walking distance

You honestly don't have to be brave, that was my revelation. In our Zumba class the oldest person is 76. There is someone who can't go the right way. Even after about 6 months! There are 18 year olds. Everyone just has a huge smile and it does it at their own pace.

I know, but I think id be thinking so much about which way to go I wouldn't get any exercise done! Grin

Good luck! I suppose you have to be sure of your goal and set it and when reached go further, that way it won't defeat you!

I hate excercise but have been doing small core and toning excercises which started with the 30 day sit up challenge and by the end I was adding different ways of exercising to my regime.
I noticed changes in a couple weeks but only now 3/4 months in others can see results and that's what keep me going.

Don't like gyms but if I carry on what I'm doing I might be motivated to use one for whatever goal iv set in future.

Well done - I have done the same, numerous times, and never really stuck to it. Hate to think how much money I have wasted over the years Blush.

The one thing that worked for me (at the time) was doing the classes because you can't give up half way like you can if you are just using the gym equipment.

Me too. Joined last month and can now jog (slowly) 300M on the treadmill...started at 50M.

People who like exercise, run and stuff in public!
