Q. What sort of cough medicine does Dracula take?
A. Con medicine

Just that. It was in one of the crackers at dinner today. One expects the novelties to be a bit rubbish but it is nice to have a titter over the jokes. However we can none of us understand why this is meant to be funny. Does this mean anything to anyone? Confused

I had this joke too! (yes I realise it's a zombie thread about Dracula).

Means that the makers of the crackers have been printing the same shit joke for 3 years (at least).

I googled this joke today as i couldn’t make head nor tail of it and left me feeling very puzzled!

It's down to what's called the ffi glyph. The missing "ffi" letters from coffin in the joke are sometimes represented as a single character which some text readers cannot recognise so they ignore it when printing (as in whatever software was used to print the cracker joke). Make sense?
