To be a bit sad that very few of my friends remembered my sons birthday?

I know it's Christmas Eve and I'm sure everyone is really, really busy trying to get ready for tomorrow. I just can't help feeling a bit sad that only one or two of my friends remembered my 3 year olds birthday. Even a text would have been nice.
Fortunately I have lovely in laws and my son has had a fun day at home with me, dh and 3 yr olds siblings.
I think it annoys me because I know a few friends that would go nc if I dare forgot their kids birthdays Xmas Hmm

No. Its unreasonable for you to expect them to remember, message you and for you to be upset that they haven't. Unless one of them is a god-mother who should know, then no, you're way off. Its all a bit too PFB.

Most of my mum friends and I have agreed not to do birthday and Christmas presents, otherwise it gets silly.
Anyhow, point taken iabu.

Hope everyone has a fab Christmas! Xmas Smile

Happy Christmas to you too. I also have a very close to Xmas birthday and while it stinks as a kid, it can be a huge bonus to hide your birthday amongst everyone's "christmas thoughts" as an adult...

I think they should have remembered a three year old's birthday. Even I usually make an effort with very small children to remember their birthdays and make sure they get something for the day.

I have a ds 3 today too and am now worried some friends might think I am the op although they should know me better than that ! I had a small party for him at the weekend so he thinks it was his birthday then anyway ! It was the first year of doing it this way and it worked really well as it got all my friends together for a pre Christmas meet-up ! Will definitely do the same again !
