I think he had a 'spray pale' down at the Forks beauty salon, plus lip fillers and a Brazilian blow-dry.

To watch twinkly pale types loafing about in the woods?

Thanks ladies, I needed a laugh! Wolfie for me too, the only men allowed to be sparkly are David Bowie and the guys from Deathstars!

Sapphire - were you a Labyrinth Bowie the Goblin King (with enhanced tights) fan?

We had a thread about that a few months ago. Grin

They're quite watchable films if you can ignore the abusive relationship blah blah

The wolf chasing the beautiful vamp with red hair through the woods is a good scene. I want that vampy red hair.

I shall look forwards to next week. In particular the bit where TeenWolf gets a bit, ahem, grabby. Bellend needs to head on over to the feminist pub, asap.

The only good one is the last one, there's finally some decent proper vampire fighting.

I'm not sure if I will be tuning in to any more in the Twiglet Saga.

Not even Episode Vl The Vampire Strikes Back. All that dancing with bears at the end - bit odd.

Bugger, it's over?

I was watching it vicariously through your commentary. Currently snuggled in bed next to farty-bum-son (5 year old at final stages of D&V) and enjoying the distraction!

Breaking Dawn II is good - the first part is all soppy stuff for the Edward-lovers, so pretty dire.

For RiverTam I think Auntie Tantrums was TantrumsandBalloons in her thread about looking after her 3 year old niece.

It's in Classics.

Couldn't possibly comment on this Twilight stuff.

I don't really get myth SadGrin

I first watched this nonsense on two 9 hour train journeys in the week after my Dad died. That's my excuse for having to watch some scenes repeatedly - I couldn't concentrate properly.

For the record, I'd have sparkles AND fur Wink

That was brilliant Grin

I quite enjoyed the books but I don't like the films.
The acting is shite. Kirsten Stewart is so monotone. She has two faces. Awake and asleep. Even they are hard to tell apart

Ah yes Thorny - the legendary Werevamp.

Lives for hundreds of years and tries to shag your leg while you are reading the paper. Nice shiny fur but a bit smelly.

I watched Kirsten Stewart in Snow White and the Huntsman last night and she was equally crap in that. Her two faces were " alive" and "assumed dead".

Have a secret crush on Carlisle, the Vampire Dad, though.

He was the father? Shock

No tanktop or slippers? How was I supposed to work that out? They could have at least had him tinkering in the shed or something. I like obvious stereotypes when I'm only half watching a film.

I tried to watch about 30 mins of it but couldn't stand that emo doormat any longer so I've progressed to Love Actually (which is the best Christmas film other than Die Hard)

Labyrinth is on over Christmas.

Talc I love the Goblin King, I think he's delicious! Grin

As a side note, does anyone else think that Aro (I had to research that as I've never read the books or watched the films) look like Dracula in Young Dracula? I saw the trailer for the last film ages ago and it made me giggle.
