To expect the cleaner to have done more....

I am trialling a new cleaner. Our house is not particularly clean nor a hovel. The cleaner said she needed to do a deep clean before regular weekly cleans. In 3 hours they did 2 bedrooms and a small bathroom. They are pretty clean now but I kind of expected more for 3 hours. AIBU?

4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom - Our cleaner makes beds, irons shirts, sorts recycling & cleans most of the house in 3 hours. Occasionally I notice things that have been misssed, but when I ask for that to be done, it's done immediately with a cheery smile.

With hindsight, I wish I'd prepared a list of jobs to be done every week / sometimes / every few months. I think this would be helpful

I've never had my house deep cleaned....maybe I should as shortly after the clean is done there's a lot of dust again. Would this help?

That sounds about right to me. A deep clean is bound to take longer than a normal clean I'd think.
