To give bits from the bazaar as presents?

Edible things made (by adults) for sale at the school bazaar. I bought a few for the sake of making a donation without really having a plan for them.

I've bought a tin mug with a funny(ish) slogan for a man who's recently built himself a shed. I had a vague idea I'd fill it with sweets/coffee/hot chocolate

Can I give him the bazaar bits? I have a chocolate snowman on a stick (to stir onto hot milk and make hot chocolate), a kit to build a marshmallow snowman (very sweet) and some sparkly bags of sweets.

Ok to give as presents or do I need to get something else?

The man in question is a secondary school teacher in his 20s who does some voluntary work Ds2 benefits from, if that makes a difference.

Perfectly acceptable to give the bits in the mug. If he doesn't have a sweet tooth he can give them away to others and he will still have the mug. It's a token. Don't overthink. Can I have the chocolate snowman on a stick though ? Smile
