Is it a bit strange or normal? They've been a Godsend this year.

I do.

Yes totally fine and normal - nice gesture

OK didn't want to be the weird too familiar patient! I suppose we give them to the school teachers so why not? :-)

Not unless they had been needed a huge amount of support for health issues but generally never see the same GP so no

That's funny, my daughter goes to the dentist tomorrow, and she wanted to give her a Christmas card. We've never done it before, but I helped her fill it out.

I think my DCs who are Doctors would love it. They are allowed to keep a card. They deserve some appreciation as they get bashed such a lot.
It is relentless and seems to happen in the press, every day.
The Junior Doctors debacle is awful. I know how hard they work and how dedicated they are.
Thanks

I occasionally get Christmas cards or presents from my patients. I am always very grateful.

I did the year we were seen by an amazing gp, sent to A&E and Dr even lent me cab fare!! I sent a gift in too.... This happened a few weeks before Christmas.

Normally not though as I rarely see same gp. Same with dentist.

It's lovely to be appreciated
