Yes, yes, I know it's all very lovely for a bit but it gets boring after a while..

And it's cold.

And I have to go out later.

Unreasonablebetty · 29/11/2015 10:53

Not even rain here in Herts.

lorelei9 · 29/11/2015 10:55

YANBU

I have a passionate hatred of snow

I hope it clears up for you soon but in your neck of the woods I guess there will be more to come...? sorry.

DyslexicScientist · 29/11/2015 10:58

I haven't had snow in years. Is this a stealth boast?

RoseDog · 29/11/2015 10:58

I'm in tayside too and the snow is lovely just now but I won't like it so much when the dog needs out later!

jacks11 · 29/11/2015 11:01

In Tayside as well, we have quite a lot of snow now. no sign of let up either.

I like snow, i don't mind being out and about in it so quite happy.

AliceInUnderpants · 29/11/2015 11:01

Was just going to moan that I'm in Angus and we have none, but no, we have some big flakes coming down now. Been pissing with rain all morning, though, so it's not going to stick.

OddSocksHighHeels · 29/11/2015 11:02

Where are you dyslexic?

No snow or rain in London. I'm hoping it stays that way.

AliceInUnderpants · 29/11/2015 11:03

Is it bad in Dundee? I have to drive through to Dundee twice tomorrow!

RoseDog · 29/11/2015 11:04

It's bad in Dundee just now but could be gone by tomorrow.

It's pissing down here (w midlands) and I just nearly got blown away in Sainsbury's car park. In the windy sense, not the gangster one.

ginmakesitallok · 29/11/2015 11:12

chipsandpeas · 29/11/2015 11:14

im jealous, im near edinburgh and its just raining heavy here, its due to snow later on but nothing will come of it Sad

prettybird · 29/11/2015 11:17

I'm Shock at boys out practising rugby in this weather.

All our kids rugby was cancelled yesterday (the Minis should have stopped a few weeks ago for their "Winter Break" but had sneaked in a few weeks extra 'cos of the mild weather). Waterlogged pitches but also cos of the cold wind and rain forecast.

Even our U15 team would have got hypothermia playing in this - and it's not fair on younger ones.

No snow in Glasgow, just really strong (freezing) winds and torrential rain.

A day for staying in the warmth (and belatedly finishing off baking my Christmas Cake). Xmas Grin

dementedpixie · 29/11/2015 11:31

Our rugby was called off too thank goodness

Themodernuriahheep · 29/11/2015 11:36

Odd socks, I'm in London too, but with sleet battering the window panes.

Must have our own micro climate.

OddSocksHighHeels · 29/11/2015 11:43

Ooh how strange. Completely dry in my bit.

I remember getting on a bus in Streatham once, absolutely pissing it down, clothes soaked through completely within a minute. I got off the bus in Tooting and no rain, bone dry floors outside, people were getting on the bus and looking confused at all the drenched people on it. How does that happen?

BishopBrennansArse · 29/11/2015 11:52

I'll trade you the drizzle and high winds we've got? Currently in Crawley.

derxa · 29/11/2015 11:52

prettybird The wee souls have gone home now Grin

londonrach · 29/11/2015 11:55

Impressed sal. If i was you id put my hat and gloves on and jumping in your garden leaving giant steps Grin never grown up thanks for the picture. Im in the midlands and its really windy at moment. No rain and no snow!

AliceInUnderpants · 29/11/2015 11:58

Yeah it's starting to lay here now. I normally love the snow but need to do these things tomorrow Sad

OddSocksHighHeels · 29/11/2015 12:22

I shouldn't have posted about it being dry here. Now it's raining Grin

PuppyMonkey · 29/11/2015 12:27

(Is anyone else slightly disappointed at these snow pix?)

Runs off Grin

prettybird · 29/11/2015 12:27

Glad to hear derxa Grin

Ds' U15 game (which would've been an away game near Motherwell) was the last one to get cancelled. As a loyal parent who has to dress up very warmly to watch from the touch line , I'm very grateful!

Got very wet and cold 2 weeks ago!
