The new contract is bad for all junior doctors but in particular expecting junior doctors to work unsociable hours will force many women (doctors) to give up working altogether; It will stop many women from entering the profession. This is not a health service that will serve the whole community. Please protect our nhs from being degraded.

Yes, they should expect unsociable hours, as people aren't ill 9-5.

But they should be fairly compensated for that.
