All I wanted to do is go out with my friends for a few drinks. I rarely get to go out! Got back to find bloody chain on front door, so I'm locked out of house!! Rang door bell and really loud home phone for 10 mins! Nothing!!! It's 10.30pm at night and extremely windy cos there's a flipping storm so I'm starting to panic. Eventually I ring his mobile. He answered. He was upstairs with his headphones on so he couldn't hear me banging on door/door bell/land line. House is not big!! I got annoyed saying that he should at least be able to hear kids (seeing as he is looking after them.) he said they r asleep so no need to listen and if there is a problem they will come and get him! FFs I rarely go out. He's just really annoying.

I'd quite honestly be wondering what he was doing that he didn't want you to catch him.

Yeah. Not watching the kids like he should. Grin

How old are the kids?
In a cot, and he's out of order.
Big enough to get out of bed and find a grownup if there was a problem, while not ideal, I can't really see a big problem.

I've put the chain in without thinking and had to get up to let dp in. It's automatic and I'm not doing anything unusual.
