To not want DH to drive the morning after a drinking session

DH agrees to drive the children to football for an away game at 9am on a Saturday but goes out until 12.45am on Friday night and admits to having 8 pints. AIBU to be angry and to have to change all the plans for the day to drive DS as I don't feel he can drive? He said he would do it and was ok but he looked like crap and I just felt I couldn't sit back and let him drive. My other plans had to be cancelled at very short notice and I had specifically asked DH not to drink a lot as he had made these plans. I just feel let down and that he has no concern for safety or the law.

Of course you start metabolising the alcohol after the first drink, but you are adding more alcohol in while metabolising the previous drinks, so very difficult to calculate.

Not stopping too late / getting up too early is as important as how pissed you get as well.
