To ask for MNtters' help to find a truly ugly Xmas bauble?

It's for a charity auction at work. Ideally it would be both ugly and funny, so people will bid for it.

Any expert ebayers/googlers on here?

farandole I'm just imagining grandma and the vicar coming for carols and mince pies on Christmas Day.
'Wow, what an interesting bauble! Quite an unusual shape, wherever did you get it? Vaguely reminiscent of something...'

I don't know what's in that last link as it's failed my internet filters!!

DioneTheDiabolist · 07/11/2015 22:13

I made the ugliest christmas bauble ever. Unfortunately I can't send it to you OP as every year DS gives it pride of place on the tree and congratulates me on "all the hard work" I put into it in a sweet but patronising fashion.Blush

Dione, DD does this too whenever I fail to fix something (usually broken toys). "Don't worry mummy, I know you tried your best effort. Well done for trying your best." Cringe.

Can't you at least post a picture?

I saw a Jesus fetus one once on etsy. Probably linked from here. That was amazing; I can't seem to find it now though. :(

The merkin wins for me. I mean wtf?!

Farandole · 08/11/2015 00:53

Chippy, these are both great! I love the knitted yoda, but the vintage ones have an undeniably creepy quality.

These are all so much better than I'd found myself!

I've just bought those microbes! Combining my too greatest passions- tacky Christmas decorations and disease!
