Back story
the last few weeks ive been having huge hot flushes where ive had to have all the windows open and heating off to even get to a bearable temperature. Over the last few days i have become more forgetful ie turning the hob on instead of the oven bringing things upstairs that dont belong upstairs ie tin opener and he said that i need to see a doc as its getting out of hand as tonight there was a plate on the hob that smashed. Aibu to refuse to go or is he?

Please go to the doctors.

Those symptoms sound very familiar to me. Turned out to be my thyroid - Once I got on the proper medication I was amazed at how many irritating things were cured. I have hashimotos disease, which means my immune system is attacking my thyroid, and it is connected to PCOS (although I'm not 100% sure how - having one means you are more likely to get the other).

No harm in going to the Dr.
