Just went into the cupboard to discover that DH ate the last Double Decker.

I don't want to be accused of drip feeding so let me give you some context.....

IT WAS MINE!

He ate three out of the four. We live overseas, this is not easily fixed.

That's what I'll tell my DH, seeyou! I was saving him calories scoffing his skittlesGrin

Grapejuicerocks · 06/11/2015 12:13

I'm not sure your marriage can get over this. Was there much remorse and grovelling for forgiveness? What is he proposing to do to compensate you? You could come out of this with a good deal if you play your cards right i'm thinking a weekend away at the very least

bikingintherain · 06/11/2015 12:22

Honestly grapejuice I don't feel there was much remorse. More excuses and general mud slinging to try and justify himself. Something along the lines of me eating 4 out of 7 twirls. But I hasten to add there was still a bag of mini twirls to be eaten which I left for him.

Oh and I forgot to mention am currently pregnant. I feel he should have known better.

Yes Lemony! Let's all send OP double deckers, and she can exact the ultimate revenge by making him eat nothing but double deckers for every meal till he can't look at one anymore, a bit like Bruce Bogtrotter in Matilda. In the future they'll all be for you!

Epilepsyhelp · 06/11/2015 13:43

Can you not order online??

HawkEyeTheNoo · 06/11/2015 14:04

Honestly!! I don't often post on these threads as usually people have much better relationship advice than I do but I had to post OP!! What a bastard!! Can you organise your finances so that he can't touch them? Get the house up for sale immediately and change the locks!!! This is unrecoverable I'm afraid. I'm sending flowers to you and I hope with counseling you can get over this. That's if you don't murder him first! Thanks

MrsMolesworth · 06/11/2015 14:47

I've just returned from a soup run for poor DS who is unwell and a four pack of Double Deckers fell into the basket while I was at the till. Is there a safe house I can send them to where he can't get access?

hedgehogsdontbite · 06/11/2015 14:55

I feel quite traumatised by this. As a fellow expat I thought division and ownership of chocolate from home was sacrosanct. I feel a massive cosmic shift coming ...

munkisocks · 06/11/2015 15:37

I might get abuse for this but did you actually specify it was yours or was it first come first serve???? Sounds like the latter Grin
