I fondly remember the summer of the Cod challenges.
MNHQ Was kept on their toes for a few weeks that year

Yes MN is not without Cod! I was always a bit baffled by the Cod phenomenon and why it mattered, but had a few nice chats/laughs with her and remember her well. I can spot her a mile off though I'd never say anything.

Only people I could ever suss out through name changes were Xenia and Dittany. LeQueen possibly and thought I had spotted ScottishMummy recently but the poster insisted it wasn't her.

Also actually i really do miss Custardo, don't think she's around ever now and she was one of best things about this site for a long time imho.

Arf it was the spelling that was so funny though so not quite the same without it.

Interesting what was said by Kangenchunga about name changes. I used to have the same name for years but now change regularly. It's a shame that we feel the need too.

Anyway I don't agree with you SEA. There are lots of funny and satirical threads and conversations even not featuring cod, and I still love MN for that.

I don't actually hold with the deification of a poster and never liked that aspect, so I'm happier it's less like that now.

Cod never existed. It's a computer virus. Just now it has a patch which helps with the spelling.
