Not thinking the wire abd bucket kind...

I have never had an experience with a cleaner before, she starts tomorrow morning

I was wondering how people manage to gain trust in someone coming in to their house, I've given her a key and asked it to be posted back through each time..

Wibu to set some little traps? Like a dirt patch somewhere i would expect to be cleaned or a £10er somewhere?

Reading this thread has made me worry that our cleaner might think we set traps. Piles of change, mountains of crumbs, unaccountable dirt Blush we have them all.

I think, with anyone new, doing a job that's very personal it's important to let them know your expectations. For you it might be sparkly taps where as someone else have the backs of pictures dusted.

Leave her a note and let her know what's important to you.

Did the OP come back and update? Were any "traps" set.
How did she clean on her first visit?
