AIBU to be pissed off when I read this sort of post on fb?

I can't be the only one who wants to post "fuck off" when I read one Grin.

It's this sort of thing:

Type Amen if you want God to be there for you. Ignore if not.

Others include "type Amen if you want this person healed. Ignore if not."

Always with a heart-rending photo attached.

Gives me the rage. It is always the same person who posts this type of thing along with other passive aggressive "I can't help being the way I am" type posts. I could delete her but apart from this blind spot she's ok.

I agree LittleMiss and I've seen those ones too. They are undeniably cute, but why wouldn't they be?

AnonymousBird · 05/11/2015 11:22

I hate these, always ignore and I also hate the supposedly "patriotic" ones with Union flags in them, always reposted by the same friend who doesn't realise their dodgy origins... slowly but surely blocking these, but some still slip through.

I click the little arrow and hide all posts from .......... or I unfollow people. My oh elder family members are bad for this kind of thing but I couldn't unfreind them as they are nice but misguided when it comes to using Facebook.

KingJoff you've just saved my OH joint account £300 Grin

For you WineCake

Someone on my feed posts this rubbish all the time. The latest was something about friendship and you had to share to say you were a real friend and if you didn't they 'would understand'. WTF?

I didn't share.

I never share or like anything from anyone with rubbish privacy settings, either. I don't want my share or my like being broadcast. Why would my friends be interested in their kittens or even their kids or even the fact they have updated their profile pic?

Grrrr.

It's like farming and the aim is to make money. 99% of these type of memes are cynical bullshit.

See here

It's a shame so many people fall for it.

Oooh wheelparrot , would I be brave enough to post that on my fb Smile

SistersOfPercy · 05/11/2015 12:04

BogusCatAndTheFuzz · 05/11/2015 12:21

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 05/11/2015 12:21

WheelParrot and kingjoff

I want and I want but am too scared.

Euripidesralph · 05/11/2015 23:18

The ones that drive me mad are the " I bet I/this/it won't get any likes"

Brilliant passive aggressive and emotionally blackmailing at the same time

But bye.... Particularly the older people holding up signs..... Why on earth do they care about the number of likes ? I'm guessing they don't but great grand wotsit is an attention seeker
