It is just not possible that it is nearly 4 years since London 2012. Someone must tell them that they've made a mistake.

I'm getting old aren't I!

We still haven't got round to watching the "Best of the 2012 Olympics" DVD we foolishly bought. I keep thinking about how I'd quite like to see the opening ceremony again and must find the time to watch it.

Take heart. Before you know it, it'll be our turn again and we can bask in the reflective glory once more.

Yes, only 64 years.

If Rio is not ready it certainly won't come here.

Anyway, remember what the newspaper magnate says in Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines

The trouble with these international affairs is that they attract foreigners.

I was a GamesMaker in London and had the BESTEST TIME!!!
5 weeks staying with my Aunt & Uncle just off Peckham Rye, bussing and DLRing to Excel to drive IOC members, photo pool and drugs testers wherever they needed to go in and around the city.

Can't believe it! I was a gamesmaker, it was amazing to be in London for that month, everyone was so happy. I was just emptying my mum's attic in preparation for baby #2 and came across my uniform. Good times!
