To sue mil for emotional damage for serving us a pizza made with sheese

She did it all sly, as if none of us would notice. All I could think about is a dominoes double decadence (the pizza with Mayo in the middle!)Envy

i was vomiting at pizza with mayo in the midde...let alone fake scheese.

Branleuse · 31/10/2015 15:35

violife is ok but tastes like dairylea rather than actual cheese

Francoitalialan · 31/10/2015 15:38

Sheese from cow's shudders.

(I'm amusing myself!)

SkyFoCrumbo · 31/10/2015 15:41

Sheese. Even the name just screams 'dont eat me!' Grin.

Also, Crazypetlady...'nutritional yeast flakes'..? Dont do it!

TotalConfucius · 31/10/2015 15:46

That's nasty.
We are avoiding MIL's now that roast season is upon us.
Last year she took to serving up Mediterranean vegetables roasted in oil instead of traditional veg with the Yorkshires. And she was roasting them in Mazola or something. Nasty.

woodwaj · 31/10/2015 15:56

I quickly had to Google double decadance because I hate mayo and love that pizza. I can breath a sigh of relief because it is a cheese and herb sauce!

She's sounds rank. Cut all ties with the woman

MmeGuillotine · 31/10/2015 16:07

Itsallgoingtobefine Yes, more or less. I haven't eaten real cheese very often though so don't really know any better!

(I've never eaten real meat either which is why my husband laughs at me when I try to claim that vegan bacon etc must surely be as nice as the real thing. Grin)

LeftMyRidingCropInTheMortuary · 31/10/2015 17:37

I thought "sheese" was cheese made from sheep's milk instead of cow's milk.

ProvisionallyAnxious · 31/10/2015 18:02

There are some fabulous sheep's cheeses around, and that was indeed my first thought. Grin

I googled sheese and the pictures... the hard 'sheeses' kind of look like they're made out of plasticine. Confused

TinklyLittleLaugh · 31/10/2015 18:08

Substitute food is always crap though. Quorn, veggie sausages, whatever.

IndomitabIe · 31/10/2015 18:32

Violife pizza cheese does melt, especially if you microwave your pizza for about 10 seconds (this also softens your special prescription cardboard pizza base).

Please keep buying violife, it's the only low-protein one we can get in supermarkets. There aren't enough low-proteiners to keep demand up enough to keep it in the supermarkets without the vegans helping!

InvasionOfTheBodyShatners · 31/10/2015 19:01

Stealth sheesing is surely a criminal offence. Keep your wits about you, folks.
