Sorry can't be too specific about the tale of woe, but have discovered that the purchasers we chose as 'quickly procedable' have told various downright lies & are trying to gazunder us knowing that we need to relocate for FIL's health & have got new schools lined up for our DC etc.

Stress Angry

Has anyone done this (given the pathetic-ness of our EA) ? Did it work for you ? Our conveyancer thinks they're out of order.

Thanks for reading. Need Wine

Good work, OP.

Stressful and protracted but must feel so good.

YellowDinosaur · 01/11/2015 13:16

Am I the only one to notice the sock puppetry on this thread Hmm

AmarettoSour · 01/11/2015 13:23

No Yellow, very strange!

oneowlgirl · 01/11/2015 13:38

I wondered about the Albertcamus comments but then thought I must have missed something & misinterpreted the situation.

clam · 01/11/2015 14:03

Sock puppetry? I can vouch for the fact the albertcamus is a long-standing poster on here.

AmarettoSour · 01/11/2015 14:56

Both the deleted comments were written as if from the OP's point of view, referencing FIL's poor health and DH's heart condition. I suppose it's possible three of us misinterpreted but it's not likely is it!

teacherwith2kids · 01/11/2015 15:05

I thought that was odd, too - especially as the story that they told was entirely different from the one that Amanda has now contributed. Slightly different posting style / layout, though - perhaps albertcamus has had a similar thread running and thought this one was theirs??

oneowlgirl · 01/11/2015 15:08

Perhaps - although why not come back to explain that, rather than getting the comments deleted??

AmarettoSour · 01/11/2015 15:08

Simplest way to clear it up it it was a misunderstanding is for Albert to come back and explain. Which I suspect won't happen.

YellowDinosaur · 01/11/2015 15:12

I reported it to mnhq who agreed it sounded suspicious and were looking into it...

albertcamus · 01/11/2015 15:30

I'm not a sock puppet ! I'd been PMing the OP as I've been in a v v similar situation, thankfully now resolved. I asked for my comments to be deleted in case my buyers recognised themselves.

Thanks clam

Good luck OP

"I suppose it's possible three of us misinterpreted but it's not likely is it!"

Or maybe it is!

teacherwith2kids · 01/11/2015 16:03

Glad there's a simple explanation!
